Correction - 13 October 2020
Please note that an ordering issue led to an error in the components of projected population change (natural change and net migration) for the following councils: Scottish Borders, Shetland Islands, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire, Stirling, West Dunbartonshire, West Lothian. This issue also affected the figures for Scotland overall (natural change and net migration) included in the source tables within all 32 council area profiles.

This page consists of profiles for each Scottish Council area. They contain data on population, births, deaths, life expectancy, migration, marriages, civil partnerships, households and dwellings.
