Re Suffragette Ladies in Headquarters in Nethergate on night of Sunday last.

D. Davidson Esqr

Sir,

I beg to report for your information as regards the above, that from my own observations and from the enquiries I have made there were 10 women in these premises on Sunday night last.

At 10 pm Tom Rodgers, Photographer for the "Courier" took a Photo of 5, which appeared in the "Courier" on Monday last. At 10:45 P.M. another two entered, and at 11 P.M. another 3 entered, making 10 in all, and none of them left up to 12 midnight, when I was called to Rose's Home.

At 3.5 A.M., 4 came out and extinguished the lights, and they proceeded by way of Lindsay Street and Ward Road to the Suffragette offices in the latter street, but which had not been lighted up to then.

The offices in Nethergate were lighted up to 3.5 A.M., and two flags of the suffragette colours were waving from the centre window, while the front was billed "No census, no votes". Miss Fraser was taking an active part in the arrangements in Nethergate.

I am Sir
Your Obedt Servant
(Signed) G Davidson D.O.
