Notice (5th March 2026)
On 5th March 2026 we started publishing the weekly births statistics in a new format, separating the data into two tables: finalised data for 1974-2024 and provisional data for 2025-2026.
After publication of the weekly and monthly birth statistics on 26 March 2026 our intention is to no longer update the births tables on a weekly and monthly basis. Instead we will update them on a quarterly basis, with the next update on 9 June 2026.
