New Register House Dome Seminar Facility

The New Register House Dome is a unique venue, purpose-built to house the Scottish birth, death and marriage records dating back to 1553.  It can be booked for meetings and conferences.

The Dome can accommodate:

  •     60 people theatre style (facing the front stage)
  •     36 people cabaret style
  •     24 people boardroom style

It is fully equipped with projector, sympodium, video recorder, DVD, slide carousel, audio equipment and flipcharts.  Two small meeting rooms can be used for break-out sessions or for refreshments.  Induction loops have been installed in the Dome and the meeting rooms.

Please note that charges are VAT exclusive.  Different rates apply for Scottish Government staff.
