This page consists of profiles for each Scottish Council area. They contain data on population, births, deaths, life expectancy, migration, marriages, civil partnerships, households and dwellings.
Correction: Previous versions of the Council Area Profiles contained an error in the text concerning Household Projections. The affected text gave statistics for the period 2031 to 2032, a one year difference, not the ten year difference, 2022 to 2032, in the text. While the underlying data itself was correct, the calculation was not. This has now been updated and the statistics described now accurately reflects the ten year difference.
