National life tables for Scotland

Archived editions of  National Life Tables for Scotland publication. These show trends regarding the average number of years people in Scotland will live beyond their current age by age and sex based on three years of population and deaths data. Prior to the 2014-2016 estimates, life tables for Scotland were described in the Registrar General’s Annual Review in August. Beginning with the 2014-2016 figures, National Records of Scotland (NRS) produce a statistical bulletin for the national life tables in September.
