Tartan and Scottish Dress
We administer the Scottish Register of Tartans, which was established by an Act of the Scottish Parliament in 2008, to protect, promote and preserve tartan. In addition, photographs relating to Scottish dress can be found amongst our records collections; a selection of which can be accessed below.
