When opening the spreadsheet files your browser, depending on how it's been configured, will prompt to either open the file or save it to disk.

Note: On 20 July 2023 we updated the rates for any data for years between 2002-2010. This is due to a correction made to population data in late 2019 which was not picked up until now. The impact of this update is very small for the whole population, but is slightly more noticeable for any age-specific rates looking at people aged 75+. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. For more information about the population update, please see here.
